The AD3 lamp was designed for the Architecture + Design Museum in Los Angeles for their ‘Here and Now’ fundraising auction in 2022. The design explores a dialog between two systems each with their own material and geometry. The wood is a stable rectangular volume that expresses solidity expressed through the thickness when cut. The translucent white form exposes a space within the lamp and encourages a closer examination since the space connects through to the other sides.
